What?

In the first session, we will explore each group member’s personal intentions for the programme and together agree the agenda for the programme by defining a common group challenge. In subsequent sessions, we will begin by setting an action plan according to emerging issues. The sessions will focus on moving towards the group intention and supporting each group member with their personal intention.

Group Coaching is also sometimes called Action Learning, Peer Coaching or Learning Networks (Bader Group 2019). This

  • Enables establishment of intentions and their realization at personal, group organizational levels
  • Generates communication and collaboration for peer consultation and support
  • Combines leadership development and empowerment
  • Systems thinking and understanding of the group’s strategy
  • Stimulates creativity and enables individuals and groups to shift paradigms
  • Challenges and re-sets values and cultures
  • Group working and peer dialogue skills
  • Strategy for managing time and energy intuitively
  • Transform clients’ results individually and as a group

Where?

In corporate settings or as part of an away day.

How?

At the start of the programme, I lead the group in establishing a confidentiality and safety agreement to ensure that group members respect each other’s points of view and that you feel safe and comfortable to express your opinions in the group. This includes setting boundaries about what you will communicate to external people, in real time or online, about what happens in the group. Sessions involve the use of questioning, exercises and learning of new tools to challenge individual and group mind-set(s) to enable the emergence of new perspectives, which foster change and growth. Group members also share their reactions to other group member’s opinions. This enables communication divergences to be tackled allowing the group to find an action plan and a way forward together.
