12 weeks, 12 hours GROUP COACHING ONLINE
What?
Online Group Coaching is an alternative to the classic individual coaching model. According to Australian researchers, Brown and Grant, “Group coaching is more challenging than one-to-one coaching but can produce greater transformation as a result” (Brown and Grant, 2010). I offer small group coaching for between 3 to 6 participants. The 1-hour group sessions are held weekly or fortnightly with a further teaching-tool element to access individually in your own time, in between sessions. In the first session, we agree the agenda by exploring your personal intention(s) for the programme. Through discussing the commonalities between your personal intentions, we will establish the collaborative intention(s) of the group. This will enable the group to work together towards a shared challenge while also supporting each individual in the group towards their personal intention. In each subsequent session, we will begin by setting an action plan according to emerging issues while maintaining focus on the foundational personal and group intentions.
Where?
Online. Before each session, you will receive an email with the link inviting you to connect.
How?
At the start of the programme, I lead the group in establishing a confidentiality and safety agreement to ensure that group members respect each other’s points of view and that they feel safe and comfortable to express their opinions within the group. This includes setting boundaries about what you will communicate to external people, in real time or online, about what happens in the group. Sessions last 1 hour and involve the use of questioning and exercises that challenge current mind-sets and enable the emergence of new paths for growth. Group members share their reactions to other group member’s opinions. This enables communication divergences to be tackled allowing the group to find an action plan and a way forward together. A further teaching element is included in this programme. Group members will receive a video (max. length 25 minutes) or a PDF document presenting a key piece of learning usually including a tool to implement. Participants are invited to access this in their own time in order to digest the information and be able to discuss their experience of it in the subsequent session.
Let’s start the journey together!
